Moore Kingston Smith, a leading multi-disciplinary advisory, tax and audit firm, announces the acquisition of Moore Northern Ireland.
Moore Northern Ireland has offices in Belfast, Coleraine and Derry~Londonderry, with seven partners and 100 people providing accountancy and advisory services to individuals, entrepreneurs, large organisations and complex international businesses.
This move follows Moore Kingston Smith’s acquisition of Moore Ireland in July 2023. Recognising the business links between the financial centres of London, Belfast and Dublin, and with growing crossborder trade, Moore Kingston Smith, Moore Ireland and Moore Northern Ireland form a tripartite to best serve clients operating across that geographical triangle.
Like Moore Kingston Smith, Moore Northern Ireland is a longstanding member of the Moore Global network. The firms have enjoyed a close working relationship over the years and are aligned in their vision and goals, as well as sharing common cultures and values.
Commenting on this, Moore Kingston Smith managing partner, Matt Meadows, said: “As longstanding members of the Moore Global network, we’ve enjoyed an excellent relationship with Moore Northern Ireland having worked with them closely over the years. This partnership brings us closer and enhances our ability to bring further opportunities to our clients. Together, we’ll combine our strengths, forge stronger business links and adopt best practices across our firms to their benefit.”
Moore Northern Ireland senior partner, Nigel Thompson, further said: “Joining Moore Kingston Smith, a fellow Moore member firm and champion of SMEs, is a forward-looking move I’m pleased to see. We have long served the OMB sector, evolving with it, and this is a natural step given the direction of the market, which further strengthens our position as a leading adviser.”
