O’Connor Davies Expands Global Reach as Lead North American Firm in PKF International Network

O’Connor Davies, LLP, one of the nation’s fastest growing accounting and advisory firms, announced today that it has expanded its relationship with PKF International, becoming the lead North American firm in the growing global network of independent accounting and advisory firms. The move immediately provides O’Connor Davies’ clients with preferred access to experts and firms in 440 cities and 150 countries around the world, while establishing the firm as the primary referral point for international businesses with needs in North America. The expanded relationship is a reflection of O’Connor Davies’ strong growth and the ongoing demand for international expertise among businesses in the U.S. and abroad.

The expanded relationship with PKF prompted O’Connor Davies to align its name and strategic brand focus and elements, including logo and tagline. The firm will now be known as PKF O’Connor Davies, emphasizing its standing in the network. A newly created logo also showcases the PKF name prominently while featuring two interlocked Os to symbolize the strength of the firm and the deep connections it creates with clients and partners. The firm’s new tagline, Know Greater Value™ reinforces PKF O’Connor Davies’ commitment to continually creating the highest level of value possible for clients. The move comes amid a period of unprecedented growth for PKF O’Connor Davies with the firm expanding from 450 professionals to more than 600 in less than 18 months.

PKF International welcomes BBA, Chartered Accountants as new member firm in Jersey, Channel Islands

PKF International Limited has strengthened its global coverage with the admission of BBA, Chartered Accountants as a member firm in Jersey, Channel Islands.

BBA was established in 1989 is a leading Jersey firm with a team of 23 staff. The firm has a policy of only hiring fully qualified staff, which enables them to constantly deliver high-quality services to their clients. BBA provides a full range of assurance, tax and advisory services to both private and public companies across a range of sectors. This addition expands the PKF network’s presence to cover the Channel Islands.

PKF Littlejohn hires team from Fitzgerald & Law

Accountancy firm PKF Littlejohn, the London member firm of PKF International, announces the appointment of three partners and five other professionals from inward investment specialists, Fitzgerald & Law as part of its ongoing growth strategy. The team will join PKF Littlejohn on 8 February 2016.

These hires, the first in 2016, follow on the heels of a series of appointments in 2015 to acquire new service expertise and build on areas of existing strength. All three partners have an impressive track record of supporting international businesses.

Dominic Fiore and Keith Steele are outsourcing partners with particular strength in the inward investment market, especially from the USA. Jonathan Boyfield is a tax partner specialising in expatriate and non-domiciled individual private tax issues. He brings with him a team of five tax professionals.

Managing partner, Carmine Papa, said: "These appointments fit well with the increasingly international focus of the firm. Dominic, Keith and Jonathan have ambitious plans to grow their practice areas and their contributions will help the firm to grow from its current income of £22m to its target income of £25m for 2017 and £40m for 2018."

Over the last 18 months, PKF Littlejohn has hired a forensic and counter-fraud team from BDO LLP led by Jim Gee, acquired boutique business restructuring practice, Geoffrey Martin & Co, based in London and Leeds and headed up by Stephen Goderski, Peter Hart and James Sleight, and appointed two leading partners in the not for profit sector also from BDO LLP, Ian Mathieson and Karen Thompson.

Dominic Fiore became a partner at Fitzgerald & Law in 2002. He specialises in providing outsourced accountancy services to UK and internationally owned UK companies. He has strong track record of attracting clients from North America.

Keith Steele led the outsourcing team at Fitzgerald & Law LLP. He has extensive experience of advising subsidiaries of foreign multinationals.

Jonathan Boyfield is a tax partner specialising in advising expatriate and non-domiciled private clients, and advising international businesses on global mobility. Jonathan and his team will join PKF Littlejohn’s expatriate US tax team.
