UK firm UHY Hacker Young has appointed Julie
Wilson as audit partner to lead the firm’s China team. Wilson will
be supported on the China desk by Grace Lim, who has been appointed
assistant audit manager.

Prior to joining UHY Hacker Young in June,
Wilson was a partner at an international accountancy firm with
mainly China-based clients.

Her dual responsibilities will be to audit UK
subsidiaries of Chinese companies while developing additional audit
and IPO opportunities from China.

UHY Hacker Young partner Laurence Sacker will
be working with the team to further develop IPO work from
China.

“We have spent some time developing contacts
and relationships between the UK and China, in particular with the
intention to introduce Chinese companies to AIM and PLUS in the
UK.  The set-up of a designated, full-time China business team
was the next step in our campaign,” Sacker says.

UHY Hacker Young Group has 92 partners and 500
professional staff working from 19 UK locations.
