UK-based accountancy and business advisory group Xeinadin has grown its regional presence by bringing Fylde Coast-based chartered accountancy practice Crossley & Davis into its network.

Founded in 1982, Crossley & Davis advises small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) on audit, tax planning, corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions (M&A), working with clients across the North West and London.

Joining Xeinadin gives the Crossley & Davis team access to wider technical support, extra resources and further development options.

Crossley & Davis partner Peter Riley said: “We have always focused on doing the work properly and being there for clients when they need us. That is how we have built long-standing relationships over the years.

“As our clients’ needs become more complex, having access to wider expertise allows us to support clients through those decisions, while keeping the same level of personal service and day-to-day accounting.”

The four partners and current team remain in place, with clients continuing to deal with their usual contacts, now backed by additional specialist input in tax, audit and corporate finance from across the wider group.

Xeinadin CEO Derry Crowley said: “Crossley & Davis has built its reputation through consistent, hands-on work and long-standing client relationships.

“Their experience across a wide range of services strengthens Xeinadin’s ability to support SMEs and businesses across the UK with joined-up advice.”

Last month, Xeinadin broadened its footprint in the North East of England and North Yorkshire with the acquisition of Wasley Chapman.

Established in 1918, Wasley Chapman serves a long-standing portfolio of owner-managed businesses, farming enterprises and other local employers.

The company operates from four sites on the Yorkshire coast and in Teesside, with offices in Whitby, Scarborough, Stokesley and Middlesbrough.
