The opening of the CFR is part of EY’s $1.4bn investment in AI and support for AI-led business transformation.

EY Global chair and CEO Janet Truncale said: “AI is fundamentally reshaping how organisations think, make decisions and create value.

“The ey.ai Centre for Reimagination is where strategy meets execution – a space where leaders can test ideas responsibly and define a clear path to scale.

“By piloting AI in controlled environments, we are helping leaders reimagine their organisations with confidence. It is our belief that the future will be shaped by leaders who can connect innovation and technology with purpose, trust and human judgment.”

EY added that the new facility brings strategy, sector expertise, engineering and execution into a single set-up, aimed at helping senior leaders test ideas and move them towards implementation.

The centre uses a stack of agentic AI, robotics, digital twins and conversational AI to run simulations, model outcomes and speed up delivery.

Initial sector focus areas include life sciences, industrial products, consumer products and retail, banking and capital markets, and energy, with many use cases designed to work across industries.

The facility is also expected to support roles that combine AI engineering with design and sector-change skills including immersive experience design, simulation, human-centred design and transformation.

EY Global Delivery Services global vice-chair Ajay Anand said: “AI is no longer a future ambition; it is a present-day business imperative. Yet, many organisations are still grappling with what transformation truly looks like at scale.

“The ey.ai Centre for Reimagination is designed to bridge that gap, helping leaders move from intent to execution and translate AI ambition into real business impact.”

Last month, EY and Microsoft extended their partnership, committing more than $1bn over five years to help organisations scale AI across the enterprise.
