Laurent Choain has been appointed as chief HR
officer at Mazars.

Choain has experience in talent development in
both a professional capacity and in the educational field.

He was until recently vice president for
leadership and management at French bank BPCE.

At Mazars, Choain will plan and drive the
group’s HR policy, particularly working towards optimising the
integrated partnership’s international talent strategy.

Choain’s responsibilities will include
developing the Mazars University, which is a forum for learning and
exchanging views between staff and partners from all over the
world.

Choain will also manage local HR teams to
ensure there are consistent HR strategies in Mazars offices across
all 56 countries the firm operates in.

Mazars president Patrick de Cambourg said
Choain’s appointment demonstrates the group’s interest in talent
management and leadership development.

“Laurent Choain has a very varied and diverse
background; he is capable of understanding our aspirations in these
areas and the values we attach to them,” de Cambourg said.
