Lacey said: “Following the introduction of the 3% SDLT surcharge for ‘second homes’ planning for SDLT costs has moved up the agenda for both clients and professional advisers. I am delighted to be joining the team at Wilkins Kennedy and I am looking forward to launching the service offering at the firm, particularly as there is a growing need in the property sector at the moment.”

Wilkins Kennedy Southampton office managing partner Adam Wilson said: “We were keen to develop the offering as we have noticed a growth in demand for such a specialised tax service. We are pleased to have Tom on board and be able to offer this additional service to our clients.”
