RSM has added two member firms in Bulgaria and Costa Rica, expanding its footprint in the Europe and Central America.

RSM BG – Sofia, Bulgaria

Previously known as Balance-M Limited, the firm RSM BG in Sofia, Bulgaria, has operated in the audit market for 20 years, particularly in industry sectors including energy, pensions, and insurance. The firm will work collaboratively with nearby member firms in Macedonia and Serbia to provide cross-border solutions for clients. 

RSM BG managing partner Mariana Mihaylova said: “The financial crisis and subsequent political unrest had a long-term impact on the business environment in Bulgaria. We have now turned a corner and it is the ideal time for us to join the RSM network.”

RSM Costa Rica – San José, Costa Rica

Three firms have been combined to form new firm RSM Costa Rica; Fernandez Zeledon & Asociados, Gutierrez Marin & Asociados and Link2Capital. As a combined entity, the new firm will offer a range of accountancy services, in particular for international tax and transaction support.
