Press release by Kingston Smith – Kingston Smith today announced the retirement of Sir Michael Snyder and the appointment of Martin Muirhead as Senior Partner from 1 May 2016.
Incoming Senior Partner at Kingston Smith, Martin Muirhead comments, "Michael has been a partner for 42 years and has led the firm for 37 years; first as Managing Partner and from 1990 also as Senior Partner. He has been passionate about client service, nurturing talent in our own people and growing our firm. He has also been very active in his support for SMEs, advising Government over an extended period and chairing the Government’s Professional and Business Services Council where he championed the value and quality of this sector. He also serves the City of London where he was the Chairman of Policy and Resources, effectively the leader, for over five years. His leadership of our firm has been inspiring and he will be much missed."

Martin has been a Kingston Smith partner for over 25 years and is a member of the Executive Board. He currently leads the Kingston Smith Property Sector and has over 30 years of experience in advising clients. He is chairman of the ETM Group of restaurants and bars and is active within the profession.
