INPACT has welcomed back cofounding member, Bureau Fiduciaire Lerminiaux S.A., to its membership.

Ernest Lerminiaux founded Bureau Fiduciaire Lerminiaux S.A. as an audit company in Brussels in 1949. Over the years, the firm added further service areas and became a limited liability company in 1972.

In 1989, Bureau Fiduciaire Lerminiaux S.A. was one of the cofounding members of the International Network of Professional Accountants, abbreviated to INPACT. In 2009, after 20 year membership with INPACT, Bureau Fiduciaire Lerminiaux S.A. decided to leave.

However, Bureau Fiduciaire Lerminiaux S.A. has recently decided to rejoin INPACT. The firm had continued to work with INPACT members and recognised the need to formalise these relationships. It had also noticed reduced global visibility since leaving the alliance.

Alexandre Deschuyteneer, partner at Bureau Fiduciaire Lerminiaux S.A. stated: “We are delighted to be working with the alliance we helped to cofound. Many of our clients are companies with global business activities. We are confident INPACT members can provide the international accounting and tax expertise our clients require.”

Bureau Fiduciaire Lerminiaux S.A. is the fourth firm to join INPACT this membership year. Sercotri Spa in Chile, Segun Awosanya & Co. in Nigeria and Yeskin & Co in Israel have all joined the alliance since July 2016.

INPACT now has over 145 members in nearly 70 countries and was recently named the 15th largest accounting association in the world by Accountancy Age.
