Press release by BDO Brazil – BDO Brazil, one of the Big 5 audit and consulting companies in the Brazilian market, has announced the incorporation of JD Auditores Independentes as part of its expansion continued project. “This incorporation is in line with our strategy of continuously increasing the capilarity of our operations in the country, where we already have 22 offices and are recognized as the partner of choice by the Brazilian middle market”, says the company’s CEO, Raul Corrêa da Silva.
JD is an important company in the sector, with a ten years history in Manaus Free Trade Zone (in Portuguese, Zona Franca de Manaus, an economic development model implemented by the Brazilian government almost 50 years ago to promote the development of the region). With the incorporation, BDO Brazil strengthens its operation in strategic sectors of Manaus Free Trade Zone, such as the electronics, plastics, motorcycles and IT ones.
The operation will be managed by João Domingos da Rosa, auditor, with bachelors in Law and Accounting accountant, who will be the responsible Director. João has over 28 years of experience in the region and in the industrial segment, in the tax and audit areas. He will share the management of the business with Esmir de Oliveira, Partner with over 35 years of experience in Audit. “This is a strategic investment that will enable us to approach medium and large companies in a high technology industrial area”, says Oliveira.
