TGS Global has added 4Partners Auditores Independentes in Sao Paolo as its first member firm in Brazil.
4Partners Auditores Independentes was founded by former partners of Terco Grant Thornton, which was acquired by EY in 2010.
The firm was said to be created to meet the need in Brazil for more flexible and personalised accountancy, tax and audit services to mid-market companies. The firm counts five partners and 50 staff.
Ricardo Afonso Parra of 4Partners Auditores Independentes said the "Brazilian economy presents tremendous opportunities for inbound investors and internationally active businesses".
"Our membership of TGS Global is a key part of our strategy to attract new clients. It will also support our ongoing efforts to develop best practice."
