RSM Tenon has decided to replace its auditor PwC UK and appoint BDO UK.

RSM Tenon had a turbulent relationship with PwC UK as RSM Tenon reported an 8.8% slump in annual revenues following the reinstatement of its accounts for 2011 after accounting errors were identified and a profit warning issued a year ago.
The actions of RSM Tenon and PwC UK are currently being investigated by the Accountancy and Actuarial Discipline Board, which is part of the UK Financial Reporting Council.

RSM Tenon is a listed accounting firm and currently ranks as the 7th largest firm in the UK with revenues of £231.5m in the year to 30 June, according to International Accounting Bulletin data.
