PKF International has added UK firm Cooper Parry to its global network, as it seeks to rebuild its former UK stature.

The network was temporally left without a UK representative after PKF UK joined BDO UK in a merger in April 2013. Since then, PKF has added London based PKF Littejohn and Scottish firm Johnston Carmichael to re-establish a presence.

Currently based in three offices located around the East Midlands, but with plans to consolidate into a single office, Cooper Parry’s services include audit, tax, restructuring and transaction.

"We will remain an entirely independent firm and are rebranding as PKF Cooper Parry in the New Year," Cooper Parry chief executive Ade Cheatham said.

PKF International’s chief executive John Sim added that the network is looking to recruit another three or four UK firms during the first half of 2014.
