Andy Armanino has been appointed as chariman of Moore Global, following the resignation of Richard Moore who served as chair for 15 years.

Armanino, who is currently a member of Moore Global’s board, will succeed as chairman of Moore Global from 1 January 2020.

Prior to being a member at Moore Global, Armanino was CEO and managing partner at Armanino LLP.

Moore said: “I am stepping down at a time when our network can face the future with tremendous optimism. We are now an organisation of true global capability, with a reputation for quality and differentiated client service. I am personally delighted that Andy will succeed me in the role.

“He is an individual with great compassion, drive and vision, and a global perspective on how the role of professional service firms must evolve and adapt, to continuously better serve client needs”.

Armanino said: “It’s a privilege for me to succeed Richard – his grandfather started the original Moore firm in London more than a century ago, and under Richard’s leadership, Moore Global is now one of the leading networks worldwide.
