Deloitte has appointed Timothy Mahapatra as managing director of its global financial advisory practice. He previously led the EMEA region and the UK firm’s financial advisory practices.
Mahaptra retains responsibility for the UK firm’s international corporate finance businesses, which include the Middle East and India.
Mahapatra said: "The global financial advisory practice represents a significant growth opportunity to both the UK firm and globally. I plan to use my experience of building a highly successful UK business to support the development of the global practice, particularly in developing markets."
