Kreston International has announced that its CEO, Jon Lisby, is stepping down due to health reasons preventing him from international travel.
Lisby will stay with the network, as Chief Operating Officer assisting the new CEO, until he retires on 31 May 2019. Kreston will begin their search for a new CEO as soon as possible.
Lisby has been with Kreston since October 2005 and was appointed CEO in January 2006. Since then he helped the network grow from aggregate fee incomes of US$1,1bn to US$2,4bn.
“It is so disappointing that my final period with Kreston has been spoiled in this way,” Lisby said.
Kreston chairman Bent Kofoed said: “The Board and the membership worldwide have been saddened by the news of Jon’s illness. This was not how we anticipated his period as CEO would end.”
