KPMG has signed an agreement with advisory and consulting firm Hackett Group to acquire their Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) practice.

KPMG’s acquisition will broaden and enhance its ERP capabilities and Oracle consulting services. The transaction is expected to close soon.

"We are excited about the impact these experienced ERP professionals will have as we continue to build a world-class Oracle technology enablement business," said KMPG US leader for management consulting Stephen Lis.

KMPG service line leader for technology Stephen Chase added: "This transaction complements KPMG’s investments in our fast-growing business transformation capabilities, further building on our October 2011 acquisition of Optimum Solutions, an Oracle Platinum Partner."
