Association IAPA International has begun recruiting law firms, with an initial wave of firms from Romania, Ireland and Turkey.

The move to bring law firms into IAPA was first revealed to the IAB in a conversation with its chairman Martin Clapson and new CEO, Ozgur Demirdoven. Clapson told the IAB: “We are opening up IAPA to law firms. This is about adding value. Many professional firms have approached us saying they are interested in joining. There is a lot of mutual business that can be generated between law and accounting firms.”

The first law firms to officially join IAPA are:  Cabinet Avocat Iova Calin, Romania; Adel Law Office, Turkey and Mullany Walsh Maxwells, Ireland.

Cabinet Avocat Iova Calin based in Brasov, and was first established in 2001.

Adel Law Office is based in Ankara, with a branch office in Istanbul. It was was established in 2002.

Mullany Walsh Maxwells was created in 2016 through a merger of three firms. It is based in Dublin.
