Finalists have been announced for this year’s IAB Awards, drawn from what judges called a "very strong and diverse set of submissions" sent during the nomination period.

The winners will now be selected by an independent panel of judges including Jane Howard head of accounting and actuarial liability at Wragge & Co, Sue Almond technical director of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Ian Ball chairman of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) and International Accounting Bulletin (IAB) editor Ana Gyorkos.

Results will be kept tightly under wraps until the official announcement at the awards ceremony held on 16 September in London.

In addition to the awards detailed below, the ceremony will include the presentation of IAB’s Young Accountant of the Year, Personality of the Year and Lifetime Achievement awards

The IAB Awards will be hosted as part of a half day International Accounting Bulletin Forum featuring sessions on recent M&A trends in the industry and cyber security as well as a senior executives round table.

The event is sponsored by headline sponsor Aon as well as Intuit Quickbooks, Star, Xero and Caseware.
