DFK UK & Ireland has appointed Bob Law and Anne Brady as the new chair and vice-chair respectively of the DFK International’s UK national group.
Law, who has been part of the association for 17 years, is replacing Suk Aulak, of Chantrey Vellacott following Chantrey Vellacott’s termination of its membership with DFK International earlier this month.
As reported by International Accounting Bulletin, Chantrey Vellacott merged with Moore Stephens International UK member firm, effective 1 May, and the amalgamated firm will trade under the Moore Stephens’ brand.
Law is chief executive of DFK International UK member firm Langdowns DFK, based in Hampshire, and as a result of his appointment as chair of DFK UK & Ireland; he will also be a member of the DFK International board of directors. Anne Brady is a partner of Irish member firm Anne Brady McQuillans DFK.
Law said: "[DFK UK & Ireland] can service any business needs in the UK and Ireland on behalf of DFK International’s members around the world and as chair, I will be encouraging all of our member firms to become fully engaged in the international business aspects of our national group to make it stronger."
