BDO US has concluded deals with firms in Alaska, Minneapolis and a number of partners in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast region, effective 1 July 2013.
In Alaska, the staff and partners of Mikuna, Cottrell & Company (MC&C) have joined BDO US.
Anchorage based MC&C had been a member of the McGladery Allaince since 1997 and had over 100 staff, including six partners.
The firm’s services include audit, tax and business consulting.
In Minneapolis, the 60 staff and six partners of Moquist Thorvilson Kaufmann (MTF) also joined BDO.
The firm was founded in 1990 and has been a member of the BDO Seidman Alliance since 1996.
MTF’s services include accounting, assurance, tax, audit and valuation services.

By GlobalDataAdditionally, 12 partners and up to 97 staff from ParenteBeard’s banking practise are to join BDO’s offices in Philadelphia, New York, Long Island, Wilmington (Delaware), Woodbridge (New Jersey) as well as open new offices in Harrisburg and Reading (Pennsylvania).
ParenteBeard, a Baker Tilly International member firm, is a full service firm with over 1,000 staff and its banking practise is only a part of the business.
