Baker Tilly Portugal has expanded in to Mozambique and Angola, whilst the networks member firm in Canada Collin Barrow announced it is to merger with Hobbs & Company.

Baker Tilly Portugal opened a subsidiary in Mozambique’s capital Luanda, Baker Tilly Moçambique Auditores e Consultores, looking to specialise in audit, accounting, tax and consulting services.

Geoff Barnes,chief executive and president of Baker Tilly International said the expansion will "help clients take advantage" of "growing economies" in Mozambique and Angola, "both of which have attracted significant interest from foreign investors in recent years. "

In Canada, Hobbs & Company joins Baker Tilly member firm Collin Barrow, which has a network of 40 offices across the country; the merged company will operate as Collins Barrow Durham.
