UK-based accountancy and advisory practice Hayward Wright has selected Mia Mahoney as its new business development manager as part of its ongoing national expansion.
Based at the company’s Birmingham office, Mahoney will oversee business development operations across the UK.

Mahoney joins the practice from international law firm Gowling WLG, where she served in the National Clients and Markets division.
In her new role, she will work alongside the leadership team and advisers to establish new commercial contacts, maintain existing relationships and assist clients across the company’s accountancy and advisory service lines.

The recruitment follows an active 12 months of expansion for Hayward Wright.
During the past year, the company acquired Birmingham-based Wharfside Accountancy and completed a merger with Auker Rhodes in Leeds.
The appointment forms part of its strategy to recruit staff and extend its UK footprint to meet rising demand for “proactive accounting and business advisory support”, the company said.
