Frazier & Deeter, a US-based accounting and advisory firm, has announced the appointment of Beth Lee Garner as a partner in its National Employee Benefit Plan (EBP) Audit Practice.

The appointment is part of the firm’s ongoing investment in expanding its assurance capabilities and strategy to bolster its EBP audits expertise.

Garner, a CPA with more than 25 years of experience in EBP audits, has worked with various plan types, including 401(k), 403(b), defined benefit, health and welfare, and ESOP plans.

She has been involved in national assurance initiatives, including developing audit methodologies, training programmes, and contributing to industry publications.

Garner, who is licensed in Georgia, is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the AICPA EBP Audit Quality Committee, and the Georgia Society of CPAs.

She holds a bachelor of business administration in accounting from Valdosta State University and an associate of science in business administration from Abraham Baldwin College.
