The Class of 2026 event was designed to support the recruits as they begin their careers with the company.
It included contributions from current trainees and colleagues who have developed their careers at Armstrong Watson, as well as information about the professional qualifications the new starters will pursue over the coming years.
The event ended with a social gathering at West Walls Brewing Co., where the recruits met one another and colleagues from across the business.
Armstrong Watson CEO and managing partner Paul Dickson said: “We are delighted to welcome our 2026 intake to Armstrong Watson.
“Our trainees and graduates play an important role in the future success of our business, and we remain committed to investing in the training, support and opportunities they need to build rewarding careers with us.
“The Class of 2026 event was a fantastic opportunity for our new starters to hear from colleagues, learn more about the business and build connections. We look forward to supporting each of them on their professional journey.”
Armstrong Watson currently supports 179 trainees working towards professional qualifications in accountancy, audit, tax and payroll services.
Earlier this year, the company appointed Chris Soan as technical training director as part of its continued focus on learning and development.
His role includes further developing the trainee experience across the business.
In March this year, Armstrong Watson appointed four financial planning consultants across three offices and announced two internal promotions.
