Wilkins Kennedy has appointed Steve Jacob as new partner at the firm’s Maidstone office.

Jacob brings with him more than 20 years’ experience in the industry, training at Arthur Andersen and qualifying in 1998 before joining a top ten firm in 2007. He specialises in structuring and shareholder planning, offshore structures and transitions for corporates and individuals.

Jacob mainly works with mid-market SMEs and Owner-Managed Businesses, but he also works with a number of High Net Worth Individuals. He will be based in Wilkins Kennedy’s Maidstone office, but will be servicing clients from around the county of Kent.

When he isn’t at work, Jacob is a keen guitarist and enjoys the odd round of golf.

Speaking of his appointment, Jacob said: “I am thrilled to have been appointed as Partner at Wilkins Kennedy and I am pleased to be part of a firm that mirrors my own values in terms of delivery and one to one service.”

Wilkins Kennedy’s Maidstone office managing partner Mike Startup said: “We’re pleased to welcome Steve on board and we have no doubt that his individual skills will greatly add to the Partnership. He is an instinctive problem solver who is recognised for his ability to apply his expertise into all aspects of client work. It is a great pleasure to welcome him to the firm.”
