UK-based accounting practice Bishop Fleming has expanded its Birmingham office with the appointment of Jack Edmonds as partner and Julie Mole as director in its accountancy team.
The additions are intended to bolster the company’s work with owner-managed businesses and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across the Midlands and further.

Edmonds joins after nearly 15 years at Crowe UK, where he focused on advising owner-managed businesses and smaller corporates.
He said: “Bishop Fleming has a strong reputation for client service and for how it supports its people.
“The Birmingham office’s ambition and the wider firm’s growth plans made this an exciting and compelling opportunity.”
Mole also arrives from Crowe UK, where she spent eight years supporting businesses in securing a range of funding solutions.
At Bishop Fleming, she will continue to work alongside Edmonds, focusing on funding readiness, banking relationships and debt advisory support.
According to the company, their combined skill set is expected to provide clients with more integrated support by linking “strategic business advice” with banking and funding expertise as companies pursue expansion, investment and operational improvements.
Bishop Fleming partner and Birmingham office lead Mark Taylor said: “Both Jack and Julie are fantastic additions to our Birmingham team.
“They bring deep experience, strong market relationships and a highly collaborative way of working that will be of huge benefit to our clients.
“Their appointment reflects our continued investment in Birmingham and our ambition to build a market-leading accountancy offering for ambitious businesses across the Midlands.”
The company said the appointments form part of its continued investment in senior leadership as it looks to grow its presence across the Midlands and South West.
In May this year, Bishop Fleming appointed three new partners in its Birmingham office.
With the addition of Edmonds, the office now comprises nine partners. The team is expected to expand further, with another partner due to join in the autumn.
