Kreston Global has expanded its international network with the admission of Nepal-based accounting practice SAR Associates as its newest member.

SAR Associates is headquartered in Kathmandu and operates as a chartered accountancy practice providing audit, tax and advisory services.

The company, founded in 2002, works with clients across sectors such as banking and financial services, hydropower, infrastructure, international development, manufacturing and public sector organisations.

SAR Associates managing partner Sunir Kumar Dhungel said: “Joining Kreston Global marks a significant milestone for our firm.

“This membership enables us to better serve our clients with international ambitions while accessing global expertise, knowledge sharing, resources and opportunities.”

Kreston Global said the move increases its presence in South Asia and will help it to support clients with operations and interests in Nepal as well as across the broader region.

Kreston Global recently launched Global Legal Group (GLG) to coordinate legal services across its international network and streamline support for clients operating in multiple jurisdictions.

GLG will operate in coordination with the network’s Global Tax Group, led by its Global Tax head Mark Taylor. Both groups are expected to work in tandem and will offer integrated solutions for cross-border projects.
