The appointment leverages Puglia’s “deep leadership experience, industry acumen” and his familiarity with Deloitte Tax’s strategic objectives, client base and the technological shifts across the tax market, the company said in a statement.
Deloitte Tax chair and CEO Carin Giuliante said: “Appointing Chris Puglia as our inaugural chief products officer is a meaningful step in how Deloitte Tax continues to build and scale technology-enabled, client-first tax solutions.
“Chris brings the right combination of marketplace perspective, leadership and product focus to help ensure our innovations translate into measurable value for clients.

“This is an opportunity to build the next generation tax experience – designed around what clients need most: speed, confidence and clarity.”
