Kreston Global has set up a Global Legal Group (GLG) to coordinate legal services more effectively across its international network and streamline support for clients operating in multiple jurisdictions.
GLG will operate in coordination with the network’s Global Tax Group, led by its Global Tax head Mark Taylor.

Both groups are expected to work in tandem and will offer integrated solutions for cross-border projects.
The legal group will be jointly led by Pedro Pizá Nerín of Kreston Iberaudit in Spain and Klaas Stoke-Borchert of German company Delfs & Partner.
Kreston Global said the structure is designed to link legal teams worldwide and help them coordinate with tax, advisory, mergers and acquisitions, and audit services.
In its initial phase, GLG will be focused on charting the legal capabilities of member companies across the network.
The exercise aims to identify areas of specialisation, encourage collaboration between practices and respond more effectively to organisations with cross-border operations or ambitions.
Nerín said: “This project represents a natural step in our evolution.
“It allows us to enhance the value of legal services within the network, strengthen them and structure them to provide closer, more coordinated, professional support tailored to the international challenges and needs of our clients.”
Kreston Iberaudit International Office managing partner and Kreston Global Board member Elena Ramírez described this move as “a decisive step in strengthening the capabilities of our network in international environments, where coordination across jurisdictions and disciplines is key to supporting our clients in their global growth.”
Last month, Kreston Global picked Tyna Adediran as the new chair of its Global Advisory Services Group.
