Grant Thornton Canada has merged with
Alberta-based accounting firm Tien Rostad.

Tien Rostad’s 15 staff members will join Grant
Thornton’s Northern Alberta business unit, which also has offices
in Edmonton and Wetaskiwin on 1 December.

Tien Rostad founding partner Doug Tien said
joining Grant Thornton would give the firm access to more
resources. Tien Rostad’s scope of services and technical strength
will also be expanded in the merger.
