Tax Systems has introduced an AI-based assistant aimed at helping global enterprises manage cross-border tax research and analysis.
The tool leverages internal corporate data and international tax material supplied through a partnership with the International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation (IBFD).
Access deeper industry intelligence
Experience unmatched clarity with a single platform that combines unique data, AI, and human expertise.
According to the company, the system is the first to bring together IBFD’s content spanning all major tax areas with each organisation’s own data to provide context-specific answers.
Tax Systems chief innovation officer Russell Gammon said: “The combination of IBFD’s verified international tax content and an organisation’s unique data is what makes this tool so powerful.
“Other tools can answer a tax question, but the AI assistant understands each business and its specific circumstances, which means the insights it delivers are directly relevant and immediately usable.”
The AI assistant has been developed by Loctax, a Tax Systems company.
It allows users to submit tax queries covering more than 220 jurisdictions and multiple tax areas, with outputs tailored to their particular corporate set-up rather than generic responses.
Within the same platform, tax professionals can draft and review tax memos, examine contracts and other documents, assess alternative structuring options and check existing advice.
The company added that the tool is intended to help teams respond more quickly to internal demands while making better use of current skills and resources, without expanding staff numbers.
Tax Systems CEO Bruce Martin said: “This launch reinforces our position as an AI-first technology company.
“By combining company-specific data with trusted global tax content, the AI assistant enables teams to generate more relevant insights, move faster and make better-informed decisions.
“This approach underpins our continued focus on delivering intelligent solutions that address the real challenges faced by tax professionals and make a tangible difference for our customers.”
The AI assistant is available immediately to organisations in all regions, the company said.
