S&W adds two partners to bolster transactions tax practice

UK-based professional services company S&W has appointed Rosemary Prendecki and Andrew Robinson as partners within its transactions tax team.

Prendecki moves to S&W from EY, where she held a partner role in the private capital transactions division.

Her background includes advising private equity investors, portfolio companies and corporate sponsors operating in the mid-market space.

Prendecki said: “S&W is a trusted adviser, working with clients to help them navigate an increasingly complex deal environment.

“By combining our specialist tax expertise with practical application and joining together with S&W’s strong transaction services and corporate finance capabilities, we can offer a compelling, joined-up proposition for clients in the transaction and funds space.”

Robinson joins S&W from KPMG, having served as a partner in the company’s deal advisory tax function.

Robinson worked with clients in private equity, financial services and corporate sectors, covering areas such as due diligence, structuring, divestments and reorganisations linked to transactions.

Robinson said: “S&W has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, joined-up advice to clients.

“I look forward to working with colleagues across the transactions tax, transactions services and corporate finance teams to further strengthen the firm’s transactions tax offering and help clients navigate complex transactions with confidence.”

S&W said Prendecki and Robinson have expertise in domestic and cross-border transactions.

Their combined skill set is intended to help clients identify value, manage associated risks, and navigate processes including acquisitions, divestments, restructurings, financing arrangements and exits, it added.

Prendecki and Robinson are set to work alongside colleagues from the transaction services, tax and corporate finance teams.

Last month, S&W strengthened its corporate and international tax offering with the addition of Pamela Collie as a partner in its London office.
