Accounting and financial services provider Fitpro Financial has been merged into UK accountancy and advisory practice Streets.

The combined entity will operate under the name Streets (Belfast), marking Streets’ first venture into Northern Ireland and bolstering its national network of offices.

The merger aligns with the launch of Streets’ new brand and visual identity, which aims to better represent the firm’s multi-disciplinary approach and its deep roots in community service.

With more than 30 offices across the UK, Streets has experienced significant growth and has evolved to meet changing client needs and industry developments.

Streets Law, the firm’s specialist legal services division, played a role in the merger by advising on all corporate aspects of the deal while collaborating with internal tax and audit teams.

FitPro offers specialised accountancy and financial guidance to personal trainers, gym owners, fitness studios, sports professionals, nutritionists, and wellness entrepreneurs throughout the UK.

Fitpro Financial director James Gibson said the company sees the merger as a great match, both in terms of client focus and cultural fit.

Gibson added: “Fitpro Financial was originally founded as a practice tailored to the growing Fitness Industry in the UK. As time has progressed the growth we have seen in other sectors like the construction and manufacturing requiring in depth advisory work has seen our firm expand. As part of a wider, thriving practice, we can confidently promise greater continuity of service to our clients alongside a wider range of services, which includes areas of specialist tax planning and personal financial planning.”

“Our team is equally excited about the future as they now have a greater opportunity to learn from a multidisciplinary group of professionals, progress their careers locally, and collaborate with like-minded colleagues who share a clear purpose and vision.”

Streets chairman and managing partner Paul Tutin said: “We are delighted to welcome James and his team to Streets. Their well-established presence in Northern Ireland aligns perfectly with our strategic vision for embedding offices across the UK, and the merger complements our growing number of regional offices.”

“We see great synergy and shared values in the way Fitpro Financial supports its clients, and it is especially pleasing that we can build on this strong local reputation while offering broader advisory services and greater opportunities for growth.”
