US-based accounting, tax, and advisory firm PKF O’Connor Davies has appointed Darryl Wegner as managing director in its forensic, litigation, and valuation practice.
A licensed attorney in New York and Washington, DC, Wegner has more than 20 years of experience in leading complex investigations and managing multidisciplinary teams.
He previously served as a senior executive with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), where he worked closely with domestic and international law enforcement and regulatory agencies.
PKF O’Connor Davies partner Elisabeth da Silva said: “Darryl’s exceptional background as a special agent investigating white-collar crime, including economic crimes, fraud, money laundering and public corruption as well as his proven track record of protecting both public and private interests from criminal, financial and national security risks make him an outstanding addition to our team.

During his time with the FBI, Wegner held leadership roles overseeing economic crime investigations in New England and managing white-collar crime, fraud, money laundering, and public corruption cases in Southeast Texas as Assistant Special Agent in Charge of the Houston Field Office.
At FBI headquarters in Washington, DC, he directed national efforts related to the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, Kleptocracy, and Criminal Antitrust programmes.
In his most recent role, he led a multidisciplinary team focused on science-based interviewing techniques for law enforcement and the US Intelligence Community.
