MGI Worldwide, a global network of accounting firms, has expanded its Latin American foothold with the addition of MGI CMP as its member firm.
Headquartered in São Paulo, Brazil, the new member firm offers business solutions.
Founded more than 40 years ago, the business has become part of MGI Worldwide with immediate effect and adopted the MGI prefix.
MGI CMP Legal and Tax Partner Filipe Martiena Teixeira said: “Originally established as a modest accounting services firm, MGI CMP has significantly broadened its expertise over the years. While accounting remains at our core, we now offer diverse services, including BPO, consulting and tax planning.
“Our team of over 70 professionals is committed to delivering exceptional results, serving clients of all sizes and industries – from small independent retailers to multinational corporations.
“At MGI CMP, like MGI Worldwide, we believe in the power of collaboration and partnership. By working closely with our clients, we aim to build long-term relationships grounded in trust, transparency, and mutual success.”
MGI Worldwide is a global network of independent audit, accounting, tax, legal, and consulting firms.
It has more than 8,000 professionals, accountants and tax experts in around 400 sites in nearly 100 countries.
Teixeira added: “MGI CMP sought membership primarily to gain knowledge, foster company growth, and enhance the services we offer to our clients. We see joining MGI Worldwide as a strategic move to leverage international expertise and best practices.
“We believe that MGI Worldwide, with its global presence will significantly help MGI CMP by providing access to knowledge, improving processes and fostering relationships with diverse cultures and ideas.”
In February 2025, MGI Worldwide strengthened its North American portfolio by welcoming LMHS.
Headquartered in Boston, LMHS has transitioned from a small team to a business with 34 members of staff.
