UK-based mid-tier accountancy and advisory practice Gerald Edelman has announced that its Corporate Finance team advised on four transactions completed last month.
The company said it advised on transactions covering the education, technology, food manufacturing and hospitality sectors, adding that the move reflects “continued strength of deal activity” in the UK lower mid-market.

In education, Gerald Edelman acted as “lead sell-side adviser” to the shareholders of an independent special educational needs school.
The school was sold to an established independent schools group, the accountancy practice added, without divulging details.
In the technology sector, the company advised YFM Equity Partners on its investment in NextWave Consulting, which offers AI, automation and digital transformation support for Tier 1 global financial services clients.
Gerald Edelman provided buy-side financial due diligence and transaction support on the investment.
The company also worked on a transaction in the food manufacturing sector, where it advised the shareholders of an independent producer of patisserie, cakes and desserts on the sale of the business to a “major foodservice group”.
The final deal, completed alongside One Voice Hospitality, involved the sale of House Café, trading as Riding House Cafés, to the Brava Hospitality Group.
Founded in 2003 by Adam White, Riding House Cafés operates three central London venues.
Gerald Edelman Corporate Finance partner Nick Wallis said: “Completing four transactions across four sectors in a single month is a real milestone for the team.
“It reflects the strength of our client relationships and the way we work together across the firm.
“The deals also show that well-run businesses continue to attract serious interest, whatever the wider market backdrop.
“We are proud to have helped our clients achieve their objectives and we wish all parties every success.”
