US-based accounting and advisory practice Frazier & Deeter (FD) has acquired Machen McChesney, along with its sister company FocusPay Solutions.
Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

Machen McChesney, based in Auburn, Alabama, operates as an accounting and business advisory practice.
Its sister organisation, FocusPay Solutions, delivers payroll processing, benefits administration and human resources services to companies throughout Alabama and neighbouring areas.
As part of the deal, Machen McChesney will join FD’s operational and support framework covering areas such as technology systems, talent development, finance, marketing and business development.

Through this deal, FD strengthens its presence across the south-east region whilst broadening the scope of accounting, advisory and workforce-related offerings available to business clients.

Last month, FD acquired Massachusetts-based accounting and business advisory practice Gray, Gray & Gray.
