DLA has appointed Jimmy Solis as a Partner within its Accounting Advisory business and the head of its newly formed Operational Accounting Advisory practice.
Operating out of DLA’s Dallas office, Solis will oversee the development of a comprehensive suite of operational accounting advisory services, to assist CFOs in areas ranging from strategic finance to core financial and accounting services.
Solis has been working for more than 20 years in financial and operational leadership positions.
His expertise spans mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, enterprise performance, financial planning, systems implementation, and software development.

By GlobalDataOperational Accounting Advisory offering is the third component of DLA’s Accounting Advisory services, complementing its technical accounting and accounting outsourcing capabilities.
Solis previously served as a managing director at Ankura, advising CFOs on transformation initiatives.
The operational accounting advisory team will address the needs of the Office of the CFO in various areas such as transaction readiness, financial analysis, cash flow, and cost control.
It will also assist with management reporting, audit readiness, and business systems.
DLA’s Accounting Advisory unit provides support for technical accounting issues, and CFO advisory services, among others.
