Cherry Bekaert, an accounting firm based in North Carolina, US, has named Dan Wheadon as the new CFO Advisory Leader.

At Cherry Bekaert, Wheadon will head the CFO Advisory Services team, focusing on empowering middle-market CFOs with a range of support services, from operational enhancements to strategic planning.

His input will be key in refining financial operations, improving processes, and delivering strategic insights that contribute to the growth of businesses, the firm stated.

Additionally, Wheadon’s leadership is set to shape the firm’s newly launched Finance Modernization solution, aimed at providing businesses and CFOs with a solid financial foundation for expansion.

Wheadon has been working for more than 25 years in management consulting.

His background includes more than 20 years at a “mid-market” accounting and advisory firm, where he was said to be instrumental in advancing the firm’s strategy and management consulting practice.
