Through the deal, bk Plus absorbs Havard & Associates’ workforce and incorporates its client portfolio spanning Essex and East London into its wider operations.

In a statement, bk plus said: “Hornchurch gives us a strong, established presence in East London and Essex, a region we see real opportunity in.”

Operating from Concept House on Billet Lane, Havard & Associates is headed by managing director Ian Havard and director Annette Havard.

The 16-member team delivers a range of professional services including accounting, bookkeeping, payroll processing, personal and corporation tax and VAT, along with Xero cloud software support, start-up advisory and investment guidance.

Under the agreement, Ian Havard, Annette Havard and the existing staff will continue working from the Hornchurch office.

Ian Havard said: “The team stays, the service stays, and the way we work day to day stays the same. What bk plus gives us is the ability to handle more when clients need it.”

Following the integration, clients of Havard & Associates will gain access to bk Plus’ wider corporate finance, restructuring and specialist advisory capabilities.

The transaction is the latest addition to bk Plus’ footprint across England, Scotland and Wales, with the group having integrated more than 12 practices since the beginning of 2026.

Last month, bk plus completed the acquisition of North London-based chartered accountancy business Joshua Leigh & Co.

Based in Barnet, Joshua Leigh & Co offer services to owner-managed businesses, limited companies, partnerships and individual clients across North London and surrounding areas.
