
Accountancy and business advisory firm BDO is expanding its presence in Edinburgh, Scotland by signing a ten-year lease for a new office space at 30 Semple Street.
The firm is set to relocate to the 8,176ft² premises in Autumn from its current City Point base on Haymarket Terrace.
This move is part of BDO’s strategic investment in its national property portfolio, which spans 18 UK locations and accommodates its workforce of 8,000.
In 2022, BDO expanded its Scottish operations by signing a ten-year lease for more than 8,000ft² at 2 Atlantic Square in Glasgow, where it now employs more than 200 people.
The firm has also recently moved into new offices in Manchester, Guildford, Nottingham, and Ipswich, and has completed major refits in Birmingham, Bristol, and Southampton.
In summer 2024, BDO announced its future relocation to a new 220,000ft² headquarters in London’s central West End, planned for 2027.
