Holowath’s appointment comes amid strategic expansions, including the acquisition of Serco Partners in France.

The acquisition of Serco Partners, an accounting and auditing firm in Toulouse and Labège, aims to bolster Baker Tilly’s position in the Toulouse economic region.

This move is anticipated to increase the firm’s turnover in the area to €10m ($10.4m), aligning with Baker Tilly France’s goal to increase turnover to €400m by 2030.

In December 2024, Baker Tilly appointed Chakib Zaari as regional chair for the Middle East and Africa.

Zaari will also join the firm’s international board, effective immediately.

This appointment formed part of Baker Tilly’s broader strategy to enhance its global leadership and regional influence.

In October 2024, Baker Tilly acquired Alirrium, a company specialising in robotic process automation (RPA) advisory and implementation.

This acquisition aims to strengthen Baker Tilly’s expertise in RPA, AI, and machine learning, supporting businesses in modernising operations and enhancing competitiveness.
