Under the terms, Abacum’s FP&A capabilities will be added into a technology portfolio that already includes solutions for accounting, tax and other finance workflows. Armanino clients gain direct access to the platform alongside the firm’s consultancy services.

Armanino will assist businesses in assessing how Abacum software fits into their established technology infrastructure, linking the platform to existing systems, and overseeing deployment and internal take-up.

Through the agreement, finance departments can implement AI-native planning and analysis software without conducting the vendor selection process independently.

Abacum co-founder and CEO Julio Martinez said: “Finance teams are under pressure to move faster and provide better insights to the business, but technology alone doesn’t drive transformation.

“Armanino understands how finance teams operate and what it takes to actually leverage technology to drive better decisions, faster.

“Together, we can help finance teams put AI-native planning and analysis into practice.”

Armanino partner and technology industry leader Dean Quiambao said: “Abacum’s hyper growth is what first caught our attention.

“We watched them scale across the same mix of industries that we specialise in. We are excited by their platform that integrates with many of the systems our clients already use.

“Our clients are asking where AI can make a meaningful difference in finance today, and this partnership gives us another purpose-built capability we can bring to those conversations.”

Armanino has agreed similar arrangements with software providers including Ramp, Rillet, and Accrual to help clients update individual parts of their finance departments using purpose-built AI applications.
