PIA Group has broadened its advisory operations with the addition of Belgian financial consultancy Argafin to the business.
Argafin provides small and medium-sized enterprises with budgeting, reporting, profitability analysis and general financial management. The firm has offices in Ottignies-Louvain-la-Neuve and Charleroi and employs 40 people.

The transaction also incorporates ArgAccount, which adds its accountancy and tax capabilities into PIA Group.
Through the affiliation, Argafin gains the corporate scale required to expand its operating model and serve more entrepreneurs outside its established base in Brussels and French-speaking Belgium.
Argafin employees will retain their existing team culture while gaining access to training, knowledge-sharing schemes and career development programmes within the larger organisation.
Argafin founder Arnaud Navez said: “We deliberately looked for a partner that was the right fit for Argafin.
“In PIA Group, we found not only the technological and financial strength we were looking for, but also a Belgian group with an entrepreneurial culture that is close to our own.
“We immediately saw many opportunities to develop our expertise further together.”
The move is intended to support PIA Group’s CFO-as-a-Service operations in Belgium, addressing demand from companies requiring financial management support and detailed performance insight.
PIA Group executive chairman Steven Brouckaert said: “Entrepreneurs today need financial support that grows with their business.
“Our advisers play a central role in this every day. With Argafin, we are adding specialised CFO expertise for companies that need more intensive financial support, whether temporarily or on an ongoing basis.
“Together, we can offer these services on a larger scale.”
Earlier this month, PIA Group strengthened its presence in Belgium’s Brussels and Walloon Brabant regions by integrating IXO Facto.
