PwC UK partner and finance managed services leader Tony Price said: “Finance leaders are under increasing pressure to provide higher-quality information faster.

“Embedding FloQast in our Finance Managed Services offering gives our clients a new option to transform their period end through AI-enabled delivery, at pace.”

Under the expanded partnership, PwC teams will conduct client finance tasks within the platform.

These activities include month-end closing, account reconciliations, core accounting tasks, and regulatory compliance.

The model addresses industry challenges for finance directors, controllers, and chief financial officers, specifically shortages of qualified accounting staff and fragmented close processes.

The system provides real-time oversight of the financial close, aimed at resolving supervision deficits common in hybrid work setups and traditional outsourcing arrangements.

Clients can scale their required service levels on demand, avoiding internal recruitment, onboarding, and retention expenditure.

By replacing scattered spreadsheets with automated workflows, the structure limits dependence on individual employees and maintains an ongoing digital audit trail for annual reporting.

FloQast chief revenue officer Adam Zoucha said: “PwC UK’s managed services, powered by FloQast’s autonomous accounting platform, go beyond traditional business process outsourcing to enable organisations to build scalable, resilient finance functions for the most complex close challenges.

“Together, we combine world-class accounting talent and AI-powered technology to empower finance leaders to reduce compliance burden, stay audit-ready and optimise accuracy and efficiency.”
