PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) UK has appointed Jeremy Bassinder as its new chief AI officer as the company aims to cater to businesses that are planning to scale AI capabilities.
Bassinder’s remit will see him draw together PwC’s expertise across business operations, technology and various industry sectors.

His focus will be on helping clients pinpoint where AI can generate value, develop the necessary skills for responsible adoption and ensure the technology is properly integrated throughout their organisations.
The appointment marks Bassinder’s return to PwC, where he launched his consulting career before spending close to three decades at IBM.
During his time there, he most recently headed up generative AI consulting for the UK and Ireland region.

Over the course of his career, Bassinder has built expertise spanning AI, analytics, digital platforms, sustainability initiatives and workforce transformation.
His work has centred on advising organisations on how technology can be used to transform both customer engagement strategies and overall business performance.
