UK accountancy and business advisory practice Johnston Carmichael has expanded its senior leadership team with the appointment of one partner and six directors across Scotland.
Keith Hamilton, who joined the company in January 2023, has been promoted to partner in recognition of his leadership as chief legal officer and head of governance, risk & compliance.

He also holds key roles including money laundering reporting officer, data protection officer and whistleblowing officer.
At Elgin, four Business Advisory specialists – Natalie Robertson, Suzanne Harrold, Chris Dick and Michael Larg – were promoted to director levels.
Robertson, who has been with Johnston Carmichael for 19 years, leads the company’s Family Office team. Harrold, who joined in 2009, advises clients with a particular focus on innovation and the food and drink industry.
Dick, a senior member across the Highlands, Moray and the north-east, has more than 14 years’ of service and has built a substantial regional client base. Larg, meanwhile, concentrates on the Rural sector.
In Dundee, Business Advisory adviser Kim Lawrie has been promoted to director. With more than 13 years at the company and personal farming experience, she supports clients in Tayside and the wider rural economy.
Calum Purdie, head of Technology & Life Sciences at the Edinburgh Office, was also promoted to director. He focuses on strengthening and expanding industry partnerships and supporting the practice’s relationships across key UK technology hubs.
