In the new role, he will be responsible for overseeing the company’s financial operations and supporting its “strategic development”.

FD managing partner and CEO Jeremy Jones said: “Michael brings seasoned financial leadership and experience navigating growth.

“His perspective will be invaluable as we continue to scale the firm and enhance the exceptional value we deliver to clients.”

Cohn joins from Alvarez & Marsal, where he worked in the Private Equity Performance Improvement – CFO Services Group.

In his most recent assignment, he held an interim senior finance position at a private equity-backed technology company, leading the finance function through a transition period, supervising core finance activities, and tightening risk controls and processes.

Over his career, Cohn has concentrated on financial strategy, execution and investment management.

His previous posts include portfolio manager at Korea Investment Corporation, along with positions at Golub Capital and Bank of America.

Cohn said: “Frazier & Deeter is at an important stage in its evolution. I am looking forward to partnering with the leadership team to support the firm’s financial discipline and long-term strategic goals.”

In April last year, FD secured investment from General Atlantic. The investment also saw the participation of PSP Capital Partners and Aksia.
